At Kingsbridge Opticians, the safety of our patients is paramount. In response to current recommendations, from the Department of Health and the Public Health Agency, regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) we will be adapting our service provision.
Unfortunately, this means that from Tuesday 24th March 2020
- Routine eye examinations will be cancelled and unavailable until further notice.
- We are still able to perform emergency appointments and referrals from Ophthalmologists in the area. If you have a serious eye health concern, please email me directly or call the store on the number below and leave a message. We will check these messages on a regular basis and do everything we can to help.
When leaving a message please leave a name and contact number as well as a description of your concern in as much detail as possible. This will enable us to best direct your concern and address it appropriately. If you have not heard back from us within 48 hours, please do call again and leave a follow up message including the same details. Where possible, email is the preferred means of contact and should be a more reliable communication pathway.
If you would like to enquire about a future date for an eye examination, please contact us via email and we will book an appointment as soon as we are advised it is safe to do so.
We apologise for any inconvenience. This decision has been taken in the interest of patient safety. Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all when we return.
